S&P 500 futures ticked higher Wednesday premarket as Europe's Stoxx 600 snapped a five-day losing streak (Bloomberg, Aug 19). After a two-session pullback from ~715 to 705, the broad, less chip-heavy index looks set for a modest oversold bounce, and it should hold up better than semis even with FOMC minutes and retail earnings (TGT, LOW, TJX) as wildcards.
