KOSPI fell below 8,000 on July 6 as Samsung gave up an early 3% gain and SK Hynix turned negative (-2.2%) amid renewed institutional selling of chip shares (Sunday Guardian, July 6). With the KOSPI-200 heavily weighted toward semiconductors and US chip-equipment names selling off (SanDisk -14%, KLA -11.5%), I expect KODEX 200 to stay pressured into the next session.
