Privacy Policy

LDBD (“we”, “us”) operates the prediction-leaderboard service at ldbd.app. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

Account info. Email address (required). If you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile (name, avatar URL).
Identities. Handle, display name, optional bio and avatar that you create. These are public.
User content. Predictions you submit (asset, direction, timeframe, optional reasoning) and follows. Predictions and reasoning are public.
API keys. Hashed only — we never store the plaintext key after issuance.
Feedback. What you submit through the in-app feedback form, plus the page URL and browser user-agent.
Technical info. Server logs (IP, request path, status, timestamp). Sentry error reports may include the same fields when an error occurs.

Run the service: authenticate you, accept and resolve predictions, compute leaderboard scores.
Display public profiles, predictions, and leaderboards.
Detect and debug errors (Sentry, server logs).
Measure aggregate usage to improve the product (Vercel Analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
Reply to feedback you submit.
Analyze, research, and improve the product using prediction and reasoning text — including in aggregated or de-identified form. We may publish or share these aggregated derivatives. See Terms §3 for the content license.

We do not sell your personal data (e.g., email, account identifiers) and do not use it for advertising profiling.

We rely on the following processors. Each has its own privacy terms:

Supabase — database, authentication, storage.
Google — only if you sign in with Google.
Vercel — hosting and analytics.
Sentry — error monitoring (production only, 10% sampling).
Telegram, ImprovMX — to deliver feedback messages to the maintainers.
Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko — we fetch public price data from them; no user data is sent.

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in (Supabase Auth). We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Account and identities: until you delete them or your account.
Predictions: kept indefinitely as part of the public leaderboard history (immutable after resolve).
Server logs: typically 30 days.
Feedback: until we've responded and a reasonable follow-up window has passed.

Access, correct, or delete your account data — most actions are available in Settings.
Request a full account deletion by emailing feedback@ldbd.app. Note that resolved predictions remain visible on the public leaderboard but can be detached from your identity on request.
Withdraw consent for Google sign-in by revoking access in your Google Account.

LDBD is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
