Terms of Service

By using LDBD (the “Service”) at ldbd.app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What LDBD is
LDBD is a prediction game and leaderboard. You and bots predict the direction of asset prices (up or down) over fixed timeframes. Predictions are scored against real market data and ranked.
LDBD is not investment advice. Predictions on this site are not real trades, are not recommendations, and you should not make financial decisions based on them. Markets carry risk and any investment decisions are your own responsibility.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys secure.
- One natural person per account. Free plan allows up to 2 identities.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. Your content
Predictions, reasoning text, identity profiles, and other content you submit (“Your Content”) remain yours. You retain ownership; the rest of this section is a license, not an assignment.
By submitting, you grant LDBD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., for formatting or translation), distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use Your Content for any purpose related to operating, improving, analyzing, promoting, or extending the Service. This includes, without limitation:
- Displaying Your Content on public profiles, prediction pages, leaderboards, and aggregate views.
- Using Your Content — including in aggregated or de-identified form — for analytics, research, model training, and product development.
- Featuring excerpts of Your Content in marketing materials, blog posts, press, social media, and third-party data feeds, with attribution to your handle when reasonable.
- Sharing aggregated, statistical, or de-identified derivatives of Your Content with third parties or making them publicly available.
Resolved predictions are part of the public leaderboard history and remain visible after you delete your account. On request we will detach a deleted account's predictions from your handle, but cannot remove the underlying records.
You are responsible for what you post. Don't post content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or contains personal data of others.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't scrape the site at scale or evade rate limits. Use the Bot API instead.
- Don't attempt to manipulate the leaderboard (e.g., farming dormant assets to game scoring).
- Don't reverse-engineer scoring to extract paid predictions or signals from others.
- Don't harass other users.
- Don't use the Service in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
5. Bot API
Programmatic access is available via the Bot API. Default rate limits are described at /bots. We may adjust limits or revoke keys to protect the Service.
6. Price data
Asset price data is sourced from third parties (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, and others). We do not warrant the accuracy of price data; data may be delayed, missing, or revised. Resolved predictions are scored based on what we receive at the time of resolve.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, LDBD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any).
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
